SIMPLE SCENTS CANDLE CO. LLC buys local & supports local & regional businesses. We buy 97% of our products and materials in or around Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Maryland, North & South Carolina, Georgia & Florida. The other 3% is purchased by American owned companies in the USA. Sometimes we will offer special items & home goods which are not American made.
We support Handmade in the USA.
Our retail customers can expect to have their order shipped out within 2 weeks normally except for September-October-November-December which is our peak festival time. Custom orders can run up to 15+ days from the order date. We pour every order fresh upon receiving your request.
For bulk, special orders, custom orders or non wax or liquid such as quilts, wood items & wholesale orders we require additional postage. The initial charge will be for cost of items and tax. Once your order is packed & weighed we will contact you to authorize a second charge for shipping cost.
OUR SHIPPING FEES & POLICY - Updated November 25 2021.
You agree to authorize us to collect additional postage fees based on your shipping destination as charged by the USPS and noted below for your convenience. This additional fee will be noted on your final invoice in your box.
1. Our web site has a default minimum shipping fee of $8.00. within USPS Zones 1, 2, 3 & 4 up to 600 miles from us (Springfield, OH).
For 601-1,800 miles (Zone 5,6 & 7) we will charge the initial $8.00 + an additional $3.00.
For 1,800 miles + Zone 8 we will charge the initial $8.00 + an additional $4.00.
For APO/FPO we will quote current USPS charges. We do not ship outside the U.S.A.

FOR ALL REGULAR ORDERS WITH A SUB-TOTAL $50.01 OR MORE (excluding wholesale orders, special orders) SIMPLE SCENTS CANDLE CO. WILL GIFT YOU $8.00 toward your total shipping fee! That means if you ship to ZONE 1,2,3 or 4 FREE SHIPPING! ZONES 5, 6, 7 & 8 will get a CREDIT of $8.00 toward your total shipping cost reducing your fee drastically!

2. Once your order has been created, packed & shipped we will send a email with your tracking number notifying you of the expected delivery date. Please be sure to double check your delivery address when you check out. We are not responsible for additional postage fees or replacements for non-deliverable items.
3. In the event you receive damaged items, please photograph the damaged items and the packaging. Contact us within 3 days of the package arrival and send us the pictures. We will file a claim for damaged goods & replace your item.
We will keep this policy in effect until shipping fees change significantly again or the USPS implodes (just joking)- Gosh we hope not! We're doing our part to support our Country.
Returns: Simple Scents Candle Co. LLC. wants you to be happy with your purchase. While all of our products are handmade and each one is unique, slight variations in color, weight and scent may occur. Sales of quilts, wood products and liquids are final. If you would like to return a wax product you may return the remaining unused item within 15 days from the date we shipped the item to you. We will issue a refund for the amount that you paid for the item & the cost of the postage to return it to us.
