We've tried A LOT of soap and have come to realize that soap is a basic formula. We wanted to use the best certified organic soap formula made only with ingredients created by nature. After being greased down with tons of heavy oily soap (not pleasant) we also required a lighter oil base. Having organic ingredients was a must and not loading the actual bar down with additives, natural or not, such as lavender buds or oatmeal chunks like this picture (some of our recent test purchases).
That's how SIMPLE SOAPS came about. We will tell you exactly what herbs, clays and minerals it takes to make each bar and what certified organic oils & plant extracts our soap is derived from.
NO unhealthy additives, NO perservatives, NO colorants, NO artificial substances, NO Parabens, NO SLS (sodium laurel sulfate or sodium laureth sulfate). & NO synthetic fragrances - scented only with essential oils. We LOVE the way the room smells with our scented wax melts & candle fragrances BUT washing our skin with naturally scented soap was equally important to us.
We will continue to add to this category as we perfect and test additional handmade products. Many of you know, we've been talking about expanding for awhile so it's not a shocker that we will be introducing two new liquid formulations as well. Liquid Castile & Liquid Organic Coconut & Olive Oil hand soap. Hand lotion, pet shampoo & spritz and some facial creams featuring hyaluronic acid... well you get the idea. We got a little board in Q1.
